I'm debating taking the money after I sell my maxi, and buy a mini j and set it up for 3d, flybarless, with a123's, and was wondering if anyone has done that? I had a mini j for a while, but only used it for ap, although it seemed like it had great potential. I'd like to use a123's if possible for 3d, even if I can only for like 5 minutes. I'm no Szabo, so I don't need the best of best performance, but be able to do some tic/toc's here and there would be nice

Might be a bit heavy for 3d with A123. Maybe 12s or more would do the trick though. Would love to hear some feedback if you try it.

I'm flying 10S LIPO on my mini and it feels a bit heavy compared to other helicopter.

But still a nice machine, even on a 3D setup
