Well i had a 4 hr lesson up at Flyn fish,
i also got a new engine, the ys91SR engine Blitze had 2 left in stock, this has transformed the machine, i upped the head speed in the hover to 1500, and put all the swash AFr back to what blitz recommended. All i did do was for the hover put the EXpo to 65 and -20, this helped a lot, i did not need to put on weights,
We run 4 tanks of flying fast circuits and it seemed as if had been flying it all the time, Dave recommended that i just fly high circuits to run the engine in, but the engine was brilliant, we setup the normal recommended clikcs on the needles, and i used my old muffler, not the longer one, and the engine has run fine...
By the 5 tank i was going into idle up 1 and 2 and putting it though the F3C sportsmans schedule, ( just a couple of aero's) i could not believe in myself how i have not lost it, all the worries went away of a new machine, the canopy being hard to see, it all just went away, the wind was 30MPH, but i was happy with the rolls, they were axual and almost central, the loops were ok, but i tend to snap it out of theback of the loop a little early, this is just confidence....
But i am happy to not have lost my skills..
I put a lot of it down to flying my vario turbine, i tend to just hover the turbine around purely cos their is 5K of money flying around, when you do that for most of the summer it will knock your confidence...
So i have put the turbines up for sale and am gonna get back to my F3C...
Thanks to all for the help and suggestions.
