I've run 12S in my Razor on the same 90T main without it being doubled, might not hurt anything for it to be doubled though. The AT 10S 5000 are really too heavy also.

It's on the way. I sure hope this smooths things out. Especially that horrible chatter in gov mode that I get with the HV 110.

Hello Stan, if you want to run 10S 5000s, you should look into the TP Extremes V2. They are excellent packs for a 10S Ion and as light as they come. If it's an X1 you are flying then you will have to special order these packs in end-to-end configuration so that they fit under the canopy. If it's an X2, they drop right in and balance is excellent.

Got any videos of the 12S Razor?

Congrats Clarence, can't wait to hear how you like the PJ. It's got the smooooothest soft start ever.

Bad Day

Greetings,
Well gang, Saturday started out great but quickly turned bad. I lost an Aileron servo, and well you can guess what happened next. Collective input positive caused roll left and negative caused roll right. It was a handful because cyclic was jacked also. Needless to say, she is banged up pretty bad. But, I should have it all back together by Wednesday afternoon.

Peace,
Clarence

Update

My Ion X2 has been back in the air for about 2 weeks now. I changed the ESC to a Power Jazz and let me tell you, this thing is smooth. The gov holds tight and no more motor chatter like I was getting on my HV110. My servos are now 8717's and I am running them at 7v on a Fromeco Arizona reg. made for 6-8v. I have put 25 flights on it since the rebuild and I would say it is now better than before. I will post some new pictures later today.

I saw this fly this weekend, its got some serious power and a very smooth startup. Its also butter smooth in a hover.

Clarence was having soo much fun he was still flying it even though it was dark . He ran his car battery dead recharging the batteries, had to give him a jump .

Great news Clarence, sounds like you are having a blast with the X2 . Same here although I've been playing around mostly with the 12S Razor for the last couple of weeks.

Like the PJ huh? The one in my Razor so far is working flawlessly and governing real tight as well. The one in my Ion tends to lose a bit of rpms when I unload the head in a certain move for some reason. I'm going to try re-programming it to see if it improves. Still works excellent though.

Looking forward to seeing those pics. Man watch out for that car battery voltage, LOL.
