A "friend" of mine bought a Quick learner 30 pro......everything went together fine and it's still flying fine after 3 years. Another "friend" of mine bought a Quick learner 30 standard.....everything went together fine and it is also still flying after 3 years. I had a Quick learner 30 that I converted to a 46 and stretched the tail and it built and flew fine for over 30 gallons of fuel until I planted it. My Quick electric Fly built and flies just fine. My OD26 built and fliew just fine.

Did your "friend" give QWW a call to discuss the issues that he is having with the heli, or did you get together and decide to just post on RR instead of talking with QWW and let the bash fest begin? It kinda makes me wonder. I have personally been involved in 5 heli purchases from QWW over the last 4 years and NONE of them had ANY problems. Never anything "soft". Once again the "in" thing to do to get on the QWW forum and do some bashing.

i would think they would then use the same soft metal for their upgrades. I fly all QWW aftermarket arms on my Ergo 60, which i planted once and rebuilt ( they survived that) and i have around 30 gal. through the bird. They are holding up just fine and they have been on this machine for in the order of 6-7 years
I just happened to see a half built QWW 18 at the LHS that i might just have to pick up and build just so i have a QWW machine.

Hello Loctite,

We want to do nothing more than stand behind everything we do here at QWW. If you are unhappy with the helicopter, feel free to return it for a full credit. The parts and pieces that are in your kit are the same parts and pieces we sell with all our kits. I do not see how you could have a bent shaft in your kit from stock, but we would certainly replace it with no problem. If you had some bearing blocks that were assembled with too much loctite and need some new ones, we would replace them for you as well, just like any customer that would call the shop with any such issue.

Sincerely,
Jon Yuhas

Share the love!!

Why can't people share their friends experience as well as there own? People on this forum have previously stated their friend's "bad" experiences, so why is one acceptable and not the other? Also, not everyone wants to share their good experiences on this forum, and personally I can't blame them. This is a perfect example of being attacked without provocation. You were offered help and refused. That is fine but why is it you are attacking these people just because you're still feeling salty? Don't take it out on them because of the path you chose. Word of mouth goes a long way in this hobby, let them state there opinions in peace.

Let me restate about my "friends" Quicks. I had personal experience with each of them building and flying their helis.....so, I think that would be ok. Actually, my friends that fly helis also fly planks and could really care less what is said on RR. They just know that their helis fly fine.....reguardless of what someone may try to tell them. Let's face it. For some posting on RR has become more of a hobby than actually getting out and doing some flying.

And i posted the my friend thing as a joke. I for one say lets make this a better forum. I want to know about the new helis, i want to know about the helis to come.
I want to go to an Irwin fun fly where everyone is flying QWW. And did you see i put Irwin and FUN in the same sentence. It has been known to happen.

I have a better idea

....

Please come over too the warehouse with your friend who actually owns the machines. Please bring your camera & you can do a post on RR OF ALL our inventory of parts, frames & kits, as well as the new parts that are arriving daily for the BAT, Flies, hARDCORE & V2 Gassers...

You show me one bend screw, one metal part that is soft & you can have pick of the liter....any of the new machines...i ONLY ASK TELL IT LIKE IT IS...

How's that for a challange & I will pay for your gas & tolls....

WE AT QWW STAND 100% BEHIND ALL CUSTOMERS EVEN THOSE THAT HAVE BUILDING ISSUES....please ALLOW US TO SHOW YOU THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO BUILD OUR MACHINES PERFECTLY WITH THE PARTS AS KITTED IF ONE FOLLOWS THE INSTRUCTIONS

The heli that you have is the one that Irwin flew personally. I know he had flown it several times without failure. Now you come on here talking about lemon parts Yes, you had a part fail....OK, I can accept that. Parts DO fail sometimes....it happens I flew Hirobos for years and had parts fail......sometimes I felt like very prematurely. Of course there was no RR for me to get on back then and bash about it back then. You just went to the hobby shop, or got a catalog out and ordered more.

Irwin and QWW offered to fix ALL issues with the machine for FREE!!! What more can you ask for......who cares what sparked the decision, but actually QWW made that offer to you before the bash fest began.

You know, sometimes you attract more bees with honey than vinegar...

Bad Decision?

You were offered help, you chose to refuse it and instead air your problems on here. That is your choice but it was your choice. We can offer the help and service but its up to you to accept it, plain and simple. What I can't understand is how a machine that flew fine through at least 20 full flights could coincidently have systematic parts failure at the exact moment it changed owners. You seen it fly in person before buying it. It did initially have a problem with the clutch screws backing out,but that was fixed and the heli tested before your eyes with the double pipe exhaust. You previously stated you had 11 flights on it, claiming it was the best heli you ever flew. All of the sudden, it magically started falling to pieces after 11 perfect flights. Parts do break from time to time, but this seems a little extreme, doesn't it? I don't know your level of flying or maintainence skills, nor am I trying to be insultive, but even you have to admit this does sound somewhat strange. By the way, we offer our help and service at any time, which isn't related to if and when someone makes a post on RunRyder, or as you yourself call it, "bashes us."

Alvie,

This is an offer from a previous thread that you opened up to complain about your EP8 from Irwin

Quote
WE have asked you to return the machine to us to fix it for you...However your pride or stubbornness would rather complain then get your machine correct & flying....

If you return the machine to us it will be pictured hovering on line before being retunred to you. If it is hovering & acceptable to our reader I will give you a full refund...

With this in mind, why are you still posting the same thing about the same heli for the past year? Help has been offered, but you still post the same thing

Are you sure you want the heli flyable?......or do you just want to say the same thing over and over while you REFUSE help. This kinda seems to invalidate your argument....don't you think...?

yeahhhhhhhhhh 11 flight for two thousand dollars, 12th flight a piece of garbage, go to your store to purchased parts a couple times yes i know parts may go bad its the nature of the hobby. i never went in there asking for anything for free i have money just not in the bussiness of giving it away. but when he tries to tell me it happened cause i dont know how to fly number one, second time i dont know how to build, i never built it they did. third time doesn't even want to look at my problem, then only on forums he offers such help. im not normally an angry person. at first i like the guys at qww irwin even offered me a spanish speaking support for international buyers and owners. so truely what is? i'm knowaledgable about the hobby. it must be you need to be a rocket scientist to fly quicks.
