The servos should be mounted inside the frames. It is mentioned in the manual. You can see it in this pic:



All three CCPM servos are mounted in the frame.

Another building tip:

On the outside elevator lever (the one with the set screws on it), I had to flip it over. With the rear servo inside the frame, the links were at too large of an angle and interfered with the servo wheel. By flipping the elevator lever and moving the balls to the outside, I was able to achieve a near perfect alignment of of the links from the lever to the servo wheel.

Here is a diagram that I took from the manual. Sorry for the poor quality but I could not get it any clearer.

Servo mountings

The three cyclic servo's mount from inside the frames while the other two mount from the outside, then your rods are straight.
