if your servos can run at 8v but your rx cant you can always disconnect the power wire comming from the servo to the rx and make your own power to the servos at 8v and have a reg going to the rx for signal feed.

I have been running 8 volts for about 3 weeks now with no problems. Using BLS 351's and BLS 451's. Also, i am using the 617 receiver and the 6014 with no problems. Probably 40 flights.

When you say 8v is anything regulated? What are doing about the tail servo? What duration are your flights? What capacity 2s lipo are you running?

tail should always be 4.8 NO QUESTION!

some governors probably dont like 8v, so its best to ask depending on the one your using,

this is very tempting, ive got a 6014 and 3 8717's comming for vibe #2..... hmm

I am using both 2s2p 2600 mah in my 50 and 4000 mah in my 90. I use a Spektrum Regulator just for the tail servo. I am running everything else on 8 volts. I have a Spartan and Multigov.
