I have a VR heli, and a SRX canopy laying around. I just tried it for you and here is what I found. It will not fit in it's stock condition. The taller rear servo tower on the VR hits the top of the SRX canopy. You will need to chop a hole in the top of the canopy to clear the servo tower or relocate the rear mounting holes on the SRX canopy plus trim the canopy in the area around the fuel tank and bottom of the frame.
BTW, I think the VR canopy looks a lot better than the SRX.
