i have a quick 30 pro, i really like it but it dose seem to fall apart, mine has a lot of flights on it, i think its related to all of the metal and no flex or give in the heli, mine rattles bolts out like a harley davidson, even with lock tight, hell the other day my pipe all but fell off and that has lock nuts on it!it sounded like a weed wacker on crack! and i loose random things off of it all the time

Sounds like you have an imbalance somewhere on it. Dial indicate the fan, balance the whole head as a unit, whole tail as a unit, make sure that nothing is bent. All those things cause the things you describe to happen.

Why?? The same people.

Why??? the people that talk positive thinks about QWW are "NEW HELIMAN" or work for QWW. I never see others experienced pilots that can compromise their name with QWW...

21 years of business and where is the happy customers?

That its possible made multiple new accounts by the same person??

For QWW model owners, its good to receive good recommendation for other experienced pilots that can convince about QWW; NOT THE SAME FIGHTING PEOPLE.

Make ideas into realities...

And the bash fest continues..... You don't want to hear anything positive. You want to hear bashing. I have posted many positive comments, but just like XCell1 posting positive, he gets hammered because he is posting positive.....so go figure.

My OD 26 has NEVER had anything fall apart!! 59 hours flying now on it.

i for see some getting extremely hurt or killed.

Oh and I guess this is the case since it's a Quick. Doesn't matter if your blade grip fails like some other popular heli.....that's not dangerous...or having to upgrade the clutch or other bits BEFORE you even attempt to fly.

That kind of posting just wouldn't add to the drama....now would it?

And it is usually the same old bashers bashing.

And of course.....this forum would not be complete without a comment from 10X. A fellow who harbors ill will toward QWW/Irwin from over 10 years ago.....but just can't seem to get over it......and move on

A friend of mone orderd 8 metal servo arms from QWW,and was sent 1 like ordered and 7 more that were not what he ordered,so the same bullsh!t service still exsist today. And no it was not the customers fault he got the wrong parts. So here is fair warning, dont expect to get exactly what you order from QWW,and no they wont call you and tell you they dont have the ones you want they just send what they want.

more a thing of no 2 parts are the same, when they should be. 10x problems were 5 yrs ago mine were more present. Just find one or 2 helis u like and fly them. If there isnt enough warning in this forum, then nothing will help them.

Ill give a good recommendation for QWW helis. I am rather local to QWW/Irwin. I have flown many of their helis. They are very competitive with other helis, And Id almost say better then many. They are attractively priced for what your getting.
Now if they are slapped together, there is going to be issues. If you take your time, balance everything, dial indicate clutches ect, youll end up with a great machine that requires little maintenance. Building this way isnt excessive. I build all my helis that way
As far as Irwin he can be your best friend or your worst enemy. I guess it depends on which side of the bed he got up on. Who knows. He is in this buisness to make money. Ive been in his shop, ive heard some of the phone calls he deals with. Goto beginners corner and read and answer every post. That gives you an idea. Hes not the most patient person. This dosent make him a bad guy.
In the whole scheme of things, hes a small buisness, competing with major brands. Hes doing the best he can to make a quality product, at a good price. Which i think he does. I think its a hell of a deal on a heli. They are doing their best to make everyone happy. One the other hand you have to remember they are small compaired to JR,TT,Align,Hirobo ect. He cant just replace every part the someone has a problem with for free. If it is a major design flaw, he will be more than happy to work with you. Just dont waste his time with slaming his product.
Do i fly his helis. NO. Im still advancing/crashing.Learning 3D. Plastic parts last longer then the normal lifespan of one of my helis. Once i am past this stage id fly one of his helis no problem and im sure i would be totally satisfied with it.

Oh and im in agreement MR10X move on. If the service is so bad there why would you let "your friend" order anything from him?
JUST MOVE ON

RE: Shipping

Mr 10x, you have never ordered anything from us, at least since I have taken over management of the shipping department. When there is a problem with the order, customers are called, or if they can't be reached by phone we use email. I can't argue about what your "friend" got or didn't get since I don't know who he is or if he even exist. You will have to excuse my skepticism, but everything I see on our forum from you is some sort of effort to spit some venom. All I can say is that our shipping department runs at 99.9% efficiency, although I will admit a mistake can occur from time to time. God did not make me perfect, and I apologize to those who are 100% perfect, I am not on your level. Since 10x isn't even a customer, I fail to see why his opinion would mean anything on this particular forum. However, we have a mailing list that contains thousands of customers who requested to receive info and updates on our new product line. I guess it must be because they don't like our machines also. I also guess that if they don't post to RR, they must not exist. If we needed such public feedback from every one of our customers, we would ask them to do so in our newsletter. Instead, we are glad these customers are out flying instead of going on forums attacking other helis on their forums. What I still don't get is that if other helis are so much better, why are you on this forum?

You know what would also go a long way? Not posting on these forums when anything negative comes up. Take the high road, and stay out of these threads. Go to the other forums and see if you have company reps fighting with people. You won't see it, and it's a large part of why you don't see the massive amount of crap on those forums. You just add fuel to the fire.

Instead, if someone has a question, wait a day or so to see if a regular user answers the question, and if they don't, then post an answer without calling the poster stupid. Be helpful, and don't get into the "We've been doing this for 21 years, no one ever has problems with our stuff, we're the best" crap that permeates every post that comes from the QWW user ID. All your posts do is create animosity towards your company. If QWW would just do those things (assuming that your claims of delivering good products are true), after a while, the anti QWW fervor would die down. It'll never go away when the top few threads have QWW fighting with and attacking people, as they are the first thing that people see.
