hard to tell from the pix I have seen on the Extreme50. But is there a servo slot to mount a servo for the carb smart??

I am seriously considering getting an Extreme. This would probably put me over..

There is an opening on the right side but it isn't cut out as a servo opening, you could however use a carbon servo template and easily adapt it for a carb smart servo

On my new kit, there is a cutout on the right side for a mini servo. The screw holes are even pre drilled. I believe they do this now for the use of the Carb smart with a mini servo. Here's a pic. You can see it under my on/off switch.

Gary,

Thanks for jumping in, I just looked at my frames and there is only a triangle cut where the mini servo is now, I have the original frame that we received before IRCHA and the final production kits didn't get into the US until the end of Sept.

Hey Ink,

There will be a bunch of them at Ripinit up the river next month, you might just have to try one on for size

You can't go wrong with the Xtreme 50. I am very impressed by the overall quality of this heli.

Thanks for jumping in

Glad that I could be of assistance. You know manufacturers are always making minor revisions to production kits.

Wow - 50 Bucks for a high-end helicopter! That is a great price!

Unfortunately, Badd, I think it will cost you more than that!

(Yea yea, I know, you meant an extra engine...)

I got a helicopter for my girlfriend,
It was a good trade!

Same here, my G10's got the hole, and I mounted the carbsmart sensor to my Hyper last night so the hole won't go to waste. This is a heck of a well thought out design.
