Well Vibe's,Stratus's and high end heli's are only worth 50% of their initial cost so i would say a QWW is probalbly only worth about 10% of it's cost, that is if the 4 QWW flyers want it.
We have a guy at our field that cant give a Quick 50 away,he might end up paying someone to take it off his hands.

I agree with MR10X - QWW have ZERO resale value - at my Club everyone has seen the problems that I have had - and I could not give it away - even to my worst enemy! And I would also like to add - products can get better - but the people at QWW wont change - with them the customer is always wrong. I also have a slab of beer on a bet that as soon as "Shuttle" wakes up - he will tell everyone that his QWW has appreciated in value!! Please dont disappoint me Shuttle.

only if they would listen to a few issue that im sure they're aware of and correct them for others, it would probably make a decent copter. OH i see they need to sell off ten thousand defect parts first then they will just build a differnt one.

Wow!!!

Ok guys, were in the same boat..."Titanic" the apparently was made by QWW

Let be creative and look for AN OPPORTUNITY that help us do not lose all our money.

Goods ideas:

1. Post an offer to all movies director and studios looking for helicopter crash. ONE SHOT TIME...
2. Offer the helicopter for IMPLOSSION or air bomb for contractors or military purposes. I'm not sure if any the QWW can lift the bombs.
3. Search for engineering school that need super challenge final project. Scope – reliable flying machine without fails. Redesign, correct and fly more than 50 times without issues.
4. Sell to a museum for historic purposes, behind the first flying machines.. That only works few times.

Please; if have more ideas add them,

Regards and welcome to the QWW money lost club.

My EP10 was impossible to sell. I kept dropping the price and dropping the price, and no one wanted it. Eventually I sold it to a guy from New Zealand, I guess they don't have the same reputation down there. I still lost a huge amount of money.

To be fair, the heli did fly well once the issues were worked out, and it certainly looked great. It was heavy, and there were some questionable design decisions, but it was a decent sport flier. It definitely wasn't suitable for anything beyond basic loops and rolls and things, but it was great in the wind because it was so heavy.

Sorry guys but I have QWW 60 Metal frame and it flys great. Yes it feels a litte heavy on the sticks compared to my xcell 60, but I don't fly 3D but alot of sport and scale fly. The only issue that I have had was glitching. No mech. problems at all yet and going on 60 hours of flight time. So I must be a lucky one, and no I don't work for QWW. Wish I did... and on a customer service they have been great
with any questions that i may have had. Parts ordered were shipped fast. So thats my two cents.

Thanks Chris

Not the question asked, have you ever tried to sell a QWW heli? How much did you lose?

Sounds like you did very well. Truth is, most helis lose a huge amount of value on the used market. New and rare helis are the exception, but for the most part, 35-40% is the norm. Most QWW helis seem to lose a lot more, but I suppose like anything else it's all about finding the right buyer.

I had one for sale a while ago, around 50 to 60 % return. I would hold on to it and watch the market as it fluctuates. I own four quicks, five raptors and one align 600n. Quicks are my favorites. took a while to figure out the the little things but now thats behind me and i find them to be more predictable and feel more connected to them while flying. My quicks fly consistant every time, you just have to be smarter than the heli you fly. I think Quick got a bad rap.

I wasn't going to post in the "bash fest" but since my name was invoked I figured I would comment. And OZ, I have always been awake. If you know any history on my posting, I was one of the Quick bashers a couple of years ago because it seems to be the popular thing to do on RR. It's like folks think......."I don't have anything to do positive today, so I'll go to the Quick forum and do a little bashing".... I realized back then, that I didn't have problems with any of my Quicks.....I was just going on second hand info, and that wasn't right.
I'll say it again in this forum, just as I have before in another posts. I will build ANYONE'S Quick heli for them for FREE, to any level that they wish. Just pay for the shipping. Then they can fly it and judge for themsleves. I know of a Q30 learner that trained 3 guys how to fly right up to 3d aeros and the heli is still flying today. I guess there are just those lucky few out there
