It sure is small, check out the picture with the 9254 beside it. It is very solid and well made. No flimsy parts and even the canopy is tough.

Looks like one sweet little heli. How much are these going for? Looks like I'm gonna have to start stashing money away for one. I was considering a walkera, but now I see hirobo has a mini electric no way I'll buy a walkera.

So are the blades the same as the XRB? They look close.

Griffin, I just finished flying this for the first time today and it is unbelievable. It is very stable, has the same feel as a large heli with most of the same adjustments plus some electronic adjustments on the control unit.

Basic adjustments:
1. Aileron and elevator trim adjustment.
2. Rudder trim adjustment.
3. Adjustment for the rotation speed of the main blades.

Expert Level adjustments:
1. Changing the aileron and elevator rudder angles.
2. Adjusting the throttle curve.
3. Adjusting rudder rotation speed.
4. Adjusting Gyro sensitivity.
5. Adjusting the subtrims.
6. Ability to change the positon of the balls on the stabalizer for a more sensitive control.
6. Ability to use you own FM transmitter(Futaba, Sanwa & JR)

The pricing is a little high but you pay for the Hirobo high qualtiy. This kit with transmitter retailed at $450.00Cnd but they are going to have a kit that you can use your own FM transmitter.

Trooper Sam, I think the blades are not the same as a XRB, the part#'s are different.

XRB Upper(2): 0301-001

XRB Lower(2): 0301-002

SRB Main Blades(2): 0302-005

The nice thing is there is only two main blades.

Well my little Quark got a workout on the weekend. I had a heli build day/ fun-fly at my shop all day and of course everyone had to try it out. Surprisingly with the 10 full flights it only had one interesting mishap where a 1/4" piece broke off one blade. I brought it down, checked it over and took it up again and surprisingly it flew quite normal. I thought for sure it would have had a major vibration, but I was still able to fly it normally. I then CAed the piece back on, balanced the blades with the included blade balancer and went up for another flight; and it flew just great. I have destroyed a couple blades so far but the parts for this awesome heli is another week away, so I am being a little more careful now.

They only had one left this afternoon. They had just sold a couple to guys in California. I had phoned them in regard to parts for mine but are stuck at customs. I ordered some parts direct from Japan and the Udisco parts pricing is extremely high.

Yes I am one of the California buyers (Quark)

First I called MRC (Hirobo US Rep) as I live in the USA, and I got a lousy sales person, when I told him that they were all ready for sale in Canada his responses was a rude "well why don't you get it from them!" and guess what? I did ... Will keep you posted.

As for the blades let me know what happened, I Have a XRB Shuttle and the blades are sure something to have alway handy.

HeliYogi, welcome to the Quark family, you are going to have a blast. I have a friend in Japan and he was able to get me a bunch of parts from his LHS's. If you get short of parts PM me and I can put another order in from the little island in the North Pacific.

Are you kidding me? someone from our company said that with the knowledge they will be here shortly?

WOW! Sure would like to know who to put some feet to the fire.

Ours were ocean shipped due to quantity brought in. Sorry, we did not air frieght them in keeps costs down. This does put our release date a little later. No worries they will be here soon enough.

Glad you got one though. Sounds like you wanted one bad.

If you remember a name, PM it to me and I'll show them this.

Totally uncalled for if you ask me.

Sorry on behalf of our company. Totally uncharacteristic. Sale or no sale, that is not the point. No reason to be treated like that
