I was just about to post the same video but your subject says it all!

On top of being super great looking, this canopy seems sturdy.

Where can I buy one?? I want the part number. Even if I have to get it from singapore!

According to BEAM, they want to prevent non-US BEAM stuff from getting into US. I guess that means no shipment to US from Asian countries. You will have to wait until Advantage gets them in.

I was rather disapointed with the other canopy as the paints chipped off so easily. This one looks promising though.

Ho well... I guess I'll continue to use my align canopy... What's a better publicity for them than holding their great canopy

The stock one was heavy and very ordinary quality...

HeliFanatic:

Good to hear from you. We've been pretty dormant after the Mexican Vuela 2007 in Oct 2007. Justin and I were busy playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion RPG. Starting with WRAM show, we will get moving again.

BTW, that video is from BEAM that I just happened to find on YouTube.

How is your Stratus?

Hu Hu.... the canopy is really tuff. Even the platic canopy we have now can still survive many crashes.

I think beam need to come out limited edition for canopy. Why... the existing canopy are hard to break and I dont think we change that so frequent...

These new canopies showed up few days ago. I'm not about to do what BEAM did on the video above to see how tough the paint is. But, I hope it will hold up better than the previous one. According to BEAM, these will be available as an optional canopies from Advantage soon.

Superb canopy

are they any rubber grommet on those pictures? I've seen some new grommet that were smaller... but your picture don't even seems to have them yet.

Are you planning to make the hole higher like you did on some other canopy?

Undecided yet. I just don't like the droopy nosed look of the stock mounting location. The standard pack that comes with the canopy include the foam pad and two typical grommets. The smaller type falls out too easily so I don't care for them much.

Just realised while looking at your picture, for the XX times that the "little X's" in the nose of the black canopy are in fact reflection of the grid where the heli stands...

At first, I tought they were kind of "flare" effect... think it would look great.. I'll ask my friend to add some if he can.

Other than that, it looks superb! And both are highly visible. Those are definitively my favorite ones!
