Right-on. I've been flying my Comet flybarless for awhile with no stabilization- just a set of mixer arms to divide the throw to the grips. Works good!

i like it, i didn't think it could be done without spending over $1,000 on a V-Bar system or similar.

how well does it handle? other then being a little touchy?

does it hold well in FAST forward flight?

other century machines have identical heads, i wonder if its possible to do this mod on the rest of them...

I think most people are in the same boat. I know you're asking Raven, but the Comet is great in FFF- just a little right-roll. Rolls, loops and flips pretty sweet.

I am going to do that to my spare hawk sport tonight. This looks so cool. Thanks for the video. Very helpful.

airborne r/c,, it does a couple things,, it quickens up the cyclic and collective so you need to add a lot of Expo, and it put more power to the head because you don't have the paddles and flybar draging,,

yeaa someone needs to test this on a Raven, maybe I will try it in about a month..

One question. Are you supposed to attach the washout base somehow so it doesn't slide up and down on the main shaft?

I posted my question in the fly bar less fourm but have not recived a anwser yet. When setting up for fly bar less I noticed the input from the swash to the grips is 90* form each other. Does that make a diffrance on my servos? Will I need to switch my elevator and aileron servos on my RX?
Just looking at it doesn't look like the the inputs from the swash to the disk will be right, or maybe I am just crazy!!!

Thats a good question. I wouldn't mind the answer to that too. I guess i will find out when i fly it. Of course i will be doing a extensive flight control check before i actually leave the ground.

Ok, guess I might have asked just in time. Did you take a look at it to see what I was talking about? Keep me posted I am still about a week or two from flying, still waiting on parts from my last flight!!!

AJ, you may want to change the short ball on the grip to the long ball. If you canget the ratio from center ball to center shaft (grip ball vs. swach ball) closer to .6 it will help. The hillers are gone so servo resolution is lost when the short ball is used.
