Wow... that bird looks like it does pretty good without any stablization. Will that hold true to a 600N or is there a reason why your bird worked very well without any Vbar setup? Thanks.

Just flew my mCCPM system today without electron stabilization(ref. thread on Kalt Enforcer: "Will this flybarless system work?". I dialed down the cyclic servos 23 to 28% and dialed in 60% expo. The heli didn't like my modifications. Ground resonance reared its ugly head when spooling up and down. Sure it hovers, but I have to re-think what I've done before putting it into FF flight. Perhaps this heli won't work. I've received no comments The bleeding edge. Ken

My Comet flybarless conversion works great! A set of mixers to divide the swash-to-grip throw and a bit of expo makes it really manageable.

I just flew my Trex600E today Flybarless for the first time with no electronic stabilization. After some adjustments and rectal puckers I got it to hover ok. Sounds a little different with out the flybar. Used the Eagle Tree then and it seems to hover with about 8 amps less which is more of a difference than I thought. It was breezy out and it certainly gets pitched around with wind.
Then I put in a fresh battery and went to a field to see how FF would be. Well I am an intermediate pilot capable of some inverted maneauvers to give you a measure of my abilities. Flying this thing in the wind in FF was a handful! Point her into the wind going forward and a stiff gust will point the nose to the sky in an instant! Worse than that are side gust that keep the bird constantly tilting one side to the other. Now bear in mind this was a windy day but I have decided I will either put the FB back on or invest in some sort of stabilization system.
I'll hate to put it back on because it is so much lighter and simpler without the FB. However any stabilization system is a major purchase. I'm sure in the next several years FB's will go away and Electronic Stabilization will be more affordable and compact. This hobby evolves very quickly with technology.
I hope this helps you out.

I just put the FB back on and hovered with the Eagle Tree data logger again. Without the FB it hovered at about 29 amps. With the FB it pulled 32 amps. One interesting thing I noticed looking at the data is with the flybar the spikes in the graph are noticably taller. The non FB graph has a much smoother profile.
These results were taken on the same day with the same battery so conditions were about the same. Yes the battery was recharged. 5000mah 6c Align XL motor with Maverick blades.
