A30's XL. For turns, depends on the series of cells you're going to use....

12XL with 18T pinion is for 6S set up.......

I'm running an a30 10xl on 4S which already gives nice power for about 8 to 9 minutes(19 tooth pinion, 2500 rpm).
When weather clears I'll be testing my new 5S pack

Hacker A30 12XL + 18T will give you ~2900rpm with 100% throttle curve ... very powerful ... and comfortable for batteries ...

Plenty of people use the Hacker A30

I have avoided it because it's rated at 32 amps peek for 30 seconds
At times I sink 69 amps in my Lepton
So the low peak current rating of the Hacker concerns me
