| Hi Guys,
Last weekend I finally had the chance to do the break in of my Avro. Must say its a real pleasure to do it!
YS91ST Engine @ 30% Nitro & 30% Klotz 198,
Throttle set up to maximum of 60% to do break in...
The first deposit I had some real problems ajusting the YS Engine needles (they have so many ) after bitching around a little bit I mannaged to have it steady and running after the 2nd deposit.
High, 1,75 turns Medium, 1,50 turns Low, 1,25 turns
Did another 2 deposits in hovering mode and the tempature was around 45 degrees, didnt touched the needles all went well!
After that I did 4 deposits flying and ¨farting¨ a little bit around and needed to ajust the high and medium needle a couple of clicks. Tempature was around 55 degrees at this point.
Then finishing the day I did my last 2 deposits in fast forward flights.
Must say its a very stable and straight forward helicopters!
Had one minor problem with my tail, the blockingscrew of the shaft had moved a little bit resulting in som slack whereof the tail vibrated a little... Solved it when I came home and cant wait till next weekend
Blades and paddles used during the break in are NHP 710 and NHP Paddles. Tail blades the 105´s of RADIX.
Here a picture after his noble flights
Regards from Spain, Dave
