This is looking good if nitro becomes short like they say.

I dunno; I think I'd rather risk a LiPo pack bursting into flames than the same issues with gasoline.

That, and I don't much like the smell of petroleum. Gasoline smells better than diesel, though...

Would be nice if there is an option to get/convert a Synergy N9 to a gasser; just in case Nitro fuel (which I don't believe will be the case) become scares to get.

How about a Evolution 26GX I believe it is litter than a Webra 150i and has a "real carburetor; a Walbro.

Does anyone know the power output of the Evo 26GX?

We might have to put our heads together and figure something out if the shortage lasts. Im sure we could fit something gas in there

I am building one with the Webra 150Hi. I will keep you guys posted.
I think I may need to experiment with various gear ratios. The existing 8.27 may be a bit too high given the engine max RPM of 14,000 per Webra-Austria. I will keep the headspeed under 1700 until I can get a different pinion. Maybe even under 1600.

Sorry guys! My fulltime job is running an internet company! As soon as I can get my Synergy in the air, I will post! I am as anxious as you are to get this going!

I am suspecting that the gear ratio is too high. I will need the 16T pinion.

Well, tonight I got my little Synergy Gasser to a nice hover. I was just testing out the engine. This weekend I hope to take it out to the field and do some flying!

The engine is very powerful but pretty smooth once it revs up.

I still need to find a good place for the ignition box. The location I had (pics in my gallery) is produces a disconnect in the igntion wire which then prevents the spark operation.

Thanks for the thought. I may put it there. The black ignition wire coming out of that unit cannot be forced too much - I need to follow its natural curve otherwise any kinks in it will put a strain on where the wire attaches to the ignition box and will inhibit spark production. The best place is probably right under the electronics tray.
