Im sure some haul their equipment long distances or perhaps into areas with limited access. Where might one find equipment containers for such a purpose that arent too costly?

The price is about 84$ and there are sizes available for up to 90 size helis. Good stuff.
Thanx Bill for the info.

"SKB" makes a hard shell case which is long enough to fit an asembled Maxi Joker 2 into, (minus the landing skids). It is a bit too long though in my opinion for easy transport through airports.
"Pelican" makes the "1750" gun case which is shorter, but requires taking the boom off and folding the tail rotor under the boom with the Maxi Joker 2. (Skids too.)
Both of these will cost you money as opposed to the soft-shell case shown. I like that case, but it comes down to the degree of protection you feel comfortable with. I personally want my heli to survive a nuclear holocaust

The black case is the SKB. The green is the Pelican.
Website called "cases by source" will get you to the SKB's.

I built this custom box after trying to find an inclosure that would fulfill my needs.....I never found what I was looking for as you can tell. A little welding/metal bending and Wa..La! It works really good for me since I drive a pickup......no more cluttered cab! Drag into the bed and go! It's 64" x 24".

FYI,
this bag (90 sized)doesn't fit on Benzin 8301 from Vario.the length is borderline (without canopy) and can't fit the flybar at height .

Here is the latest updates with the jokers installed and some nice pretty old bluish colored foam I found in the attic. The foam makes a nice accent to my quick crappy pictures.

It rolls very nice but the CG is way off and currently weighs 39lbs. I think it will be going FedEX insured next day when I begin my "Global Domination" of the AP market.

I need some type of GPS locater beacon.

As soon as it warms up.

Its hard to see in the poor pics but the wood is thru bolted with carriage bolts and washers/nylon lock nuts counter sunk in the wood. I then added tee nuts into the wood that thumb knob screws mount the heli to. Since I hard mount my helis to my 360 mount (i.e. like DJ)using wing nuts its very easy to go from case to mount and back to case. Plus the helis are mounted very securely. I still want to make some mounts/guides for the tail boom(s) to rest in.

I'll get better pics when I get finished.

I still have to find room for the mount, Tx, tools etc....
