I just got mine today! The backlit screen is nice, but the size of the pixels could be finer. The radio feels cheaper and more plastic than the 9C. The throttle does not feel as smooth. Copying files with CAMpac was easy. If you aren't flying CCPM, no need to change over IMHO. Battery is 9.6V Nicad, so we can use the same high capacity packs. My 9C with TM-8 FASST module is on Ebay!

Pics

Ok, enjoy the pics!

Last one with the Power Down is the Range Test mode, you push the scroll/enter button and power it up to get this menu, then you can activate the heli and the blue light will rapidly flash, then your in low power to do your range check...

I have been reading for the past week or so. Has anyone figured how to put a balancer for the neck-strap on this radio?

Mine is not balancing, it feels like the 9C before I installed the spektrum balancer.

RLC, how did you install that spektrum balancer on the 14MZ, how did you flip the hook around?

SIM port

The SIM port in the back of the radio seems to be square, same shape as the 9CHP. Can the same cable for the Phoenix SIM used on a 9CHP be used on the 10c ?

Hy,

Do you know if there is a switch for 2,4Ghz power?
I live in France and overthere we have to follow different rules concerning 2.4 On the first radio futaba made a switch with allow us to get power for France, I wonder if they have put such items in there 10C.

Hope someone could check for me...

Sincerly

There is a specific setting for using this transmitter in France. I believe you will find it in the "Parameters" menu.

I have just seen in manual that it could be possible to switch between France area and General to set the power of 2.4, does someone who have a 10C 2.4GHz could confirm me?

It's written in page 17 in the manual that you could find it in "TX setting" -> "TM-10 Area Selection" = "TM-10 MODE"

Thanks for your help

Was at the hobby shop today and saw one. I was dissapointed as it seemed abit cheaply made with all the plastic. Also the back with the antenna turned me off.

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly better than I can pilot them

I love mine. I do have a 14mz and this is a great backup to have. Flew with it for two days so far and it is great.

They need a dedicated 2.4 version. Not that 2 antenna deal. That will keep me from getting one.

GreyBird, it is nice to ave 2.4 and the ability to use some of other models I have not been able to convert as of yet because of the cost.

The problem is Graybird, that as many want a dedicated version there is an equal number like me who WONT buy a dedicated version. I have always used the versatilty of the modular tx's. I use my Tx to run an infrared emitter for nano indoor planes,a Plantraco Monolith on 900mhz, an XPS module for 2.4ghz with rx's I already have and of course I will be using 72mhz the most. With FAAST actually getting the least use untill I buy more FAAST rx's.
Since their is no performance penalty its only appearance you're objecting to I presume.

is there anyway to fold the antenna and mount the 2.4 module so that the antenna goes in front of the handle instead of behind?
