After multiple crashes, i could not get the blade 400 to fly. I bought a flight sim which helped tremendously, then I bought a trex 450 se v2. What an amazing difference!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmmmm, sounds to me like your skills may have advanced and it's not really a fair comparison. All I hear is, "I kept buying stuff and practicing till I could fly. Now that I am actually capable of flying everything else is junk and the trex just happend to be what I was flying when I figured it out."

Gentlemen, what you all have to realize is that these 2 heli's are some of the most recommended to all BEGINNERS. Unfortunately the vast majority of people who fly and give opinions on them are just that, beginners. Not exactly a shining example of unbiased and experienced testing grounds.

Imo the extra price of the trex isn't worth the very marginal improvement in quality and flight precision. And yes, I've spent many many hours flying both. I would reccomend the b400 to the beginner or the seasoned vet. It's a fun little bird and really rocks once you get it's setup quirks out of the way.

buy cheap buy twice still applies to all heli,s and the 400 is no different. it is a pitfall at best.

if you stay in the hobby more then 6 months you will more then likely replace everything but the TX/RX in the 400. If you can even progress in your flying skill,s! the 400 will most likely hold you back and frustrate you! its a cheap poor plastic heli and everything needs to be replaced. new guys reading this post need to know the truth in what there getting. all the people that bought one are still trying to justify there purchase and praise it but they are new to the hobby and know little about what is really out there as far as quality and durability. the 400 was made to suck money out of new peoples wallet end of story.

You dont own one so why are you even commenting? This is my third heli after a 30 and 90. B400 is a great heli, and honestly people should be mad at Align for overcharging them for a Trex. The B400 has more engineering put into it the all the Trex's. End of Story

So you're saying a noob should buck up and buy the sev2? I gotta tell ya that sounds pretty thick. It's gonna suck dumping that much dough on the cnc'd stuff everytime you hit the dirt. If you're recommending just buying the base model rex450............. Isn't that the one with all plastic? So you'd eventually end up upgrading that too.

It's amazing how some people are only happy if they're degrading or flaming others and thier heli's. Oh well, I guess everyone's a professional behind thier keyboard. The only opinion that counts is thiers and everyone else is stupid.
