e-E-Sky Honey Bee- Lama- Belt CP- E-Smart > Belt CP head and King head are they the same?

Hey Guys,

Just another "left feild" question. Are the parts compatable for the Belt CP and the KING? The reason that I'm asking is I noticed an add on X-Heli that offered a complete built up head (CNC) for the CP. Was just wondering if it would work for the King? Not that I'm ready to buy, was there looking at parts and saw the ad, and thus my post here.

The swash and rotor head assembly are the same for the Belt CP and the HBK2.

I learned to fly on a Trex, I learned to crash on a Blade CP...

Almost the same...

The CNC heads are the same, but the stock plastic heads are similar but different - main difference is that the Belt CP is a little beefier and has more bearings...

(eg. Flybar Control Set has 2 bearings on the Belt CP part # EK1-0519, and no bearings on the HBK2 part #EK1-0284 has none)

Only truly common parts between the HBK2 and Belt CP stock heads are the:
  • Feathering Shaft (Spindle) - part # EK1-0540
  • Bell Mixing Control Rod Set - part # EK1-0521 (part of EK1-0290)
  • Head Linkage Rods - part # EK1-0547 (part of EK1-0290)
This does not mean that you cannot interchange the rest of the parts...

Happy Flying!

Oops - reread the original post.

Yes, the CNC heads are the same!

If the Belt-CP head is a little beefier, would it be a good idea to use it instead of the king head, on the king? I am just asking to ask.

The stock blade grips on the King are much thicker than the ones on the Belt.

Can you use the Belt CP's flybar control set on an otherwise completely stock plastic HBK2 head?
