I am thinking of embarking on a project to make my stock R90 Flybarless. Since it's mCCPM, can I use 2 GY240 on the ailerons and elevator to acheive flybarless flight?
Will it be too twitchy and unstable in flight? Anyone tried converting with this setup?

I did the same with my R50. I did end up needing the AP2000i to adjust the phasing but it did fly w/o a mixer. I used 401's rather than 240s. Start with low gain, move the link balls in on the servos horns(really touchy in the regular position:eek and lower the rates in your tx. That's the one step I missed in the beginning and fought the setup for a while. Adjust up to your liking once your flying.

how does the spartan AP2000i works in this application? Does one AP2000i replaces the 2 GY240? Or do i require additional gyros to use with the AP2000i for flybarless operation?
The description states that it works also for CCPM setups, which means that I'll be able to convert my Avant?
