very comfortable in the hands, pretty light for what it can do, the 2.4 gig works great. very happy with it.

Same size as a 9C super, easy to program, haven't even opened the instruction book yet! (not as easy as the 9C but because of the vast array of options) basically all the transmitter i will ever need.

Not used it to fly a model yet, but i know it will be good. Just waiting for the gale force wind and rain to stop!

Execellent Tx, very easy to program, update through sd card very nice indeed!! I got three differnte helis, Predator Gasser, Scale Hughes 500D and two Hawk Pro´s and the flight very sweet and no more glitches for 2.4 FASST...bye bye. Go for it.

my only complaint is that the beeper on the timer is a little too quiet. Other than that I love mine, i was using a 9c before.

Good radio.
But be aware that it is region coded.
You must use transmitter modules that are coded to the same region as the radio.
I had an issue with my first no-brand SD memory card. The radio would not recognise it. I bought a new SanDisc SD card and everything was fine.

I've have one question...
Does the Futaba 12FG (from Heliproz!) works in Europe ?

I've read some posts that some USA Futabas do not work in 2,4GHz Europe.

thx

If you buy the 12FG AND the 2.4gHz module from USA it will work fine.
But if you buy a 12FG from USA you can only use transmitter modules that are region coded for USA.
If you want to use a module from Europe in your US-coded radio you have to send the radio to a Futaba dealer and have it recoded for Europe.

What about a European/Asian receiver and a US module, I guess they will communicate with each other?

Love this radio. I as well think the beeper for the timer needs to be louder.

Receivers are not region coded and will work with any region coded transmitter

I assume you've already held one in your hands? I only ask b/c I was about to jump the JR ship for the 12FGA until I held it. Yes, the gimbals feel very nice, but I though the radio felt very cheap. I'm not trying to bash it, or sway you by any means. The feature list was fantastic for that price point, but it just didn't feel like a $1000 radio in my hands. My 9303, while still plastic, feels much more solid. I'm certainly not loyal to JR. I'm hoping Futaba was start offering the 12Z or 14MZ as a FASST package. Maybe around the time the JR12X is available.

I just jumped ship

I just sold off my JR x9303 2.4 ghz system and DX7 system to purchase the T12FG system. It does feel lighter than I am used to but that is not a problem for me. I really like the position of the switches. There feels to be more room for my fat fingers.
My only problem right now is finding a second receiver. I need an 8 or 14 channel unit and nobody has them in stock.

I had no problem putting a Kmart SD card in my TX and formatting it.

This TX is CONSIDERABLY more complicated than I am used to. The ability to map functions to channels is great! Just make sure to keep the swash channels where they are. (its a bit more complicated but I'm not able to explain it well...yet.)

Another great function is the linkage compensation feature. This allows one to mix out interactions on the swashplate.

Rick

No,No..The other left!
