Hello all
For the first time I tryed the idle up mode and to my surprise the heli headed towards the ground pretty quick, like I had major negative pitch. When I set the heli up as far as pitch goes, I Had all trims centered,Throttle @ mid stick and the idle up switch in the forward position and The hover trim @ 12oclock.

Throttle at low position -2
Throttle @ mid 0
Throttle @ full +8

The strange thing is that when I increase throttle the heli goes up.
I thought that When I idle up mode the throttle works backwards.

What do ya think

Im not real clear on your settings, but you need throttle curve to be for example 65% at mid stick, 100% at full stick and 100% at no stick. Your pitch curve should be for example, 0 degrees at mid stick 10 degrees at full stick and -10 degrees at zero or no stick. Those numbers are just examples, but it should give you the idea of what your looking for. Fine tune from there. good luck and post back if you need more help, and how things are going.

rsking, If your using the stock transmitter, the knobs have some effect but you may have to change some of your mechanical heli links to get the pitch curve right. The swash to servo links for example have to be adjusted sometimes because of the limitations of the stock transmitter.

I've found that leaving the left knob centered and the right one fully CCW makes a seamless transition from normal to idle up.

Higher HS too for better tail control.

Stock tx idle up is I think 80 - 85% throttle at low and high stick, and 'curves' to about 50% at center.

If you read the manual it states that in idle up mode the throttle curve is a V, 100% at top stick, 50% at mid and 100% at bottom.

Also, the left knob "hover trim" affects both normal and idle up but the right knob "pitch trim" only affects normal mode.
