going through the tail boom?
Left over right or vice versa

Doesn't matter much it could be right but twisted in the boom a whole turn. Turn the main rotor clockwise the tailrotor should spin up into the main rotor. And make sure it moves freely thats the way to tell if its twisted more than the 1/2 turn.

yes I believe it is wrong in the manual. Id have to check again to make sure but just follow the rotation I said and it will be fine.
