Ok, I've logged all of 10 minutes flying on my HDX 450 and now the main blade grips have so much play the end of the blades move 3/4" up and down without resistance. Has anyone encountered this? Bad bearings perhaps? Tracking seemed OK though, for whatever that's worth.

Also the seesaw arms have a ton of play in them - I checked the bolts for tightness. I don't know if this play was there before the flights or not, I may have missed it.

Same question as I posed before if someone can help - thrust washer/spindle assembly order to make sure it's right. I really think it is, as I have a Tiger 50.

Just as a follow up, I assembled the bearings wrong in the head. Slop is minimal now. Still have slop in the seesaw arms. I'm chaulking that one up to bearing tolerances and am living with it for now. Seems like it's fine for the flying I'm doing which is just FF for now on this. I want to paint a fair picture of the HDX since there are both posts that rave about it and those that say it's junk. I definately agree there is a quality control issue. Good ones are great, bad ones will drive you crazy.

I switche out mixing arms and washout slider with Align. It took all the slop out of the head.
