| I'd suggest you change the speed controller to another brand. I'm using a Jeti Spin 40 amp controller with it setup for a soft start, it has a very slow smooth start up using it. I'm using a AXI Mega motor, same as the H8 that everyone talks about, it's a great motor for sports flying and gives me 15 minute flights. On a hot day the motor does get warm even using the fan on top of the motor. The battery pack I use is a 4350 3-Cell 11.1V Lipo from PollyQuest. The battery gets only slightly warmer than air temperature after 15 minutes of flight time so there is no heavy amp draw using this setup. I suffered with tracking problems in the beginning however now, turning the blade grips around has solved that problem. The Royal is now my favorite helicopter, using the suggested motor it's definitely no 3-D machine but I didn't want a 3-D machine in the first place. If you can't get your Lexor start up problems solved just change the speed controller.
