The latest episode of Mythbusters has the dumbest myth yet, the airplane on a conveyor belt myth. How they even decided this was a myth is beyond me. Are average people really this uneducated? I think yes.

It's a great show. I watch it all the time. I didn't get a chance to see tonights episode. Guess I'll go online and see if It's up on the site yet.

After watching it and thinking about it more, I can see why people would be confused. The way they explain the myth is confusing. But the concepts surrounding how a plane flies are not confusing.

Anyhow I can not believe that this myth has been the most controversial myth on their forums. It is cut and dry. If the plane can put 25mph wind past the wings, it will fly. What the plane is resting on does not matter.

I too can not believe the pilot thought the plane would stay on the ground because there was a sheet of fabric being pulled under the tires.
