this is so wierd..

on my hbk2, stock, the tail blade grips make the tail blades bend towards the left.

so that should mean the tail blades are not getting enough lift to keep the tail steady.

so what I did was put a little rolled up tape between the left side of the tail grips and tail blades.

this helped but is it okay to do?

i tried ordering some parts, but they havnt showed up yet( they shipped it on the 14th of january).

please give any info regarding this problem.

thanks!!

You can slide the servo for the tail rotor forward or backwards to get more or less pitch.

If they make,em i,ll break,um

that's not the case Strut70.

i know that you can move the servo up and down the boom.

I'll try to put in a photo.

So, if I have this right...
Looking from the back of the heli, when the blades are snugged in the holders, they tend to angle towards the left/port side?

A little wobble should be OK. Post a pic and let's see how bad it is. Might be a problem.

You know I had this too, but it was going the other way on the tilt. I replaced the tail blade grips and it went away. I kept the grips to play around with later. But I never really saw anything wrong with them.

I just noticed my bend toward the left a little too. I haven't had any problems with it though.

If it affects flight, or bothers you, I'd suggest replacing the tail rotor assembly. They're kinda cheap.

Maybe consider the Align tail rotor HS1176 and some Align ball links. Then you could use the slightly larger Trex tail blades without having to sand the roots down. There is also less slop in the Align rotor.

The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.

hello everyone again,

right with my hbk2 i went to take it for its 2nd flight yesterday, problems the gyro light kept flashing at me, when i went to take off i had to pull the right leaver on the transmitter to the bottom and to the right to get the blades to stay straight, to make things worse the blades are trying to fly the wrong way (pointing to the ground) and when ever i tried to move the blades to a different angle i got a crunching noise.

does anyone have any idea if i have done something or if it is just a faulty product?

thanks

Check the servo gears. Maybe you have a few teeth gone.

First, it tells to turn on transmitter, then turn on heli. I believe that means turn on gyro??? Help me out here guys ! Then just let sit, dont touch it, till gyro stops blinking and gos to on-red. Then it should go Green............! Mine neaver gos green. Anybody else with red, no green. The book aint gona tell ya much, but I went threw it 2 times, and got that much.
