Blitz Helicopters Avro 90 > My new Helicopter (AVRO)

This is my new Helicopter, I have flown it for the second time this weekend. When I saw this helicopter last year flying on the 3D Masters I like it very much.

At the moment I am doing the break in of the engine and I cannot wait to fly 3D with him!

Hi rsalazar
Thanks

The helicopter has only 3 flights so far. Therefore, because the engine is new, I cannot fly 3D due to the break in period. The configuration I choose is the FULL 3D SETUP. It’s still too soon to give a full opinion but I can tell you that the helicopter is stable and very lineal in his manoeuvres.

Best regards.

Its a very good price for the quality and service they deliver. Once I finished the break in of mine at the moment and I like his handling in 3D almost clear that I buy a second one...

I don´t understand the people saying, its expensive.... If you see the price of a VIBE (which is antigue) you see that´s more or less the same...

Anyway, its a 90 machine and they are expensive if you dont have the money buy a 50 machine

Regards,
Dave

We here in USA, got use to the cheap products from China.
I used to own Miniature Aircraft, and after I upgraded the metal Blade holders, bellcranks, heavy duty clutch, push pull, fly bar carrier, open tail case. I ended spending more than $1,500.00 for the kit.
If the Avro does not need any upgrade, it is a reasonable price in my opinion.
I just want to see parts sold in USA.

what is the gear ratio? any options?

Basically you tell them what motor and servos you are putting in and you get metal servo arms to suit, plus a gear ratio to suit (I think there is only two ratios, suited to either OS or YS), plus you get the special clutch mount nut for the specific motor.
Another HUGE plus is the after sales service you get. Neal has answered and dealt with any questions within a day, and it wasn't even my helicopter I was building. Now you won't get THAT from China!!!!
No upgrades needed, very tuneable head, everything fits and the quaility is spot on. You won't be sorry if you buy one.
Oh, and it isn't a myth...it actually exists lol

Agree completely with Dennis! The service you get from the Blitz Guys is a mayor advantage over the normal shops/brands.

The heli comes complete with everything you need and suits for Fai/f3c flyers, sport flyers and hardcore 3D flyers.

The ratio is like Dennis said, you tell them which engine you prefer and they deliver everything for those engine selection. This counts also for the servo selection. Futuba or JR.
