I've noticed now on a few galleries, people with neatly curled servo wires leading to the rx. Found more on tails.

I was wondering, is there a nifty science to aformentioned curly fry wiring? I think it looks a lot neater than straight, and zip-tied.

Thanks in advance fellow runrydians.

FYI: however to do it make sure the wire can vibrate to any extent as the heli flys. You don't want the gyro picking up any "bad vibes" as the head spins - and of course ensure that nothing is going to get caught and chewed in anything.

Not sure if this is why some curl wires, but doing it in some applications creates a "choke" effect that helps reject/suppress unwanted glitches - but I doubt this works for our purposes.

Nifty. Thanks for the reply. Other purposes aside from just being "curly"

I just thought it looked nicer than just having wires making their own ant trails all over my heli frame. Looks a lot cleaner to boot.

I figured it was done with some sort of heating gun maybe?

Just wrap the wires around something round until you get to the plug. Pull the round thingy out and you have curly fries wires.....

oh cool

Thx. I thought you had to use some sort of heat source to keep em in said curly fry position.

Thanks again ya'll

Nope nothing fancy to make them stay curly. The wires inside will hold the shape....
