Very nice.. I assume one set of dimples is at 20mm from center. I would not use 25mm out as it would not be 90 degrees. They do look very nice and Quick UK makes great stuff.

I see only three holes, which suggests you'd have to drill a hole, at 20mm. At least it's doable. Perhaps Quick UK should include that 20mm position?

I've always been told that servos with metal gears shouldn't run aluminum servo wheels or arms, given a crash could result in a destroyed servo. However, do not all JR servos, with metal gears, include a sacrificial plastic gear?

I have been using my metal arms for about three months now and they give the cyclic a very locked in feel since there is zero flex on the arm. I do pretty much expect to be replacing servo gears if she goes down hard. Good point on the sacrificial plastic gear. I am not sure on these servos, but I am going to find out now.

No, the Align wheels are 15mm from center. You need 20mm from center. Order these, you will need them!

Cable lenght on 8717

Hi

Is the cable on the 8717, long enough, so that the rear "elevator" can be used without and extension cable?

Check Ghostriders Gallery, I am still setting up my stratus, but it appears that he used the stocks ones, looks like a perfect fit to me on the outer hole?

If you dont succeed the first time, try and try again. With heli's keep on trying!

Yes, the stock horns will work just fine. The only thing is that you'll have to use subtrim to get them 90 degrees

Subtrim...

Does is really matter if using subtrim, I still uses some pitch to ail or elev to get a straight flying heli.....

No, I did not use the stock horns. The horns must be exactly 20mm from center. I used these heavy duty JR's (see link below). They come with three different horns. 1-17mm, 1-20mm, and 1-4point 17 and 20mm cross horn. They also have a brass collar for a little extra strength around the spline. If you don't want to cut the 4-arm horn down, you will need three packs.

I did use the stock wheels for the throttle and the tail servos.
