I got the hog out and took it to the carwash weird weather 60 degrees today and the only working heli I have is a lama.

I have a piece of plywood already for just that purpose this year... You should have seen the people look when I took off of my swim platform and flew up and down the beach, it was priceless....

That would seem to be a serious gut check moment taking off or landing. That swim platform does not seem wide enough.

yeah slider your swim platform is too small you need a smaller heli or a bigger boat.

OK a bigger boat it is...

Actually the platform is 3' wide so there is plenty of room to take off, landing is another issue, I don't trust myself that much...

I'm thinking one of those 8' diameter floating trampolines. Then you can tie it off to the boat and still have access. THen use white tape take make the big "H" in the middle of it. That would be a great pic!!!

You would be suprised how hard it is to land on a 4' wide dock that is surrounded by water.... Yes I fly off the dock in the spring and fall when alot of the boats are gone....

Something really cool about flying over water...

It's not that its cool, its total commitment! Over water means NO safety net. If you crash to the ground, you can salvage a lot of parts. A watery death, there are no survivors! So it takes someone with big brass ones to do that. AMEN to you brother, I would love to see some of those flights.

SOOOO, if i have to, i will come down and personally video AND upload those shots so you can share the wealth from those vids.

I have one video of me flying off the docks last spring, all the guys were commenting in the background... My wife only got the last 30 seconds or so of me coming back into the dock.. I went to youtube and I have an account but i can't access it for some reason.... It sends the confirmation to my old dialup email I think....from 6 years ago... Now what do I do....

I would either try with an all new account, if it will let you, or you will have to login and go to the edit screen to change you data. THe support for that web site is not so good, but if you submit a question it does get answered.
