O.K.

I must be a radio programming idiot ( can build helis but obviously can't program the kitchen sink settings :^) ). When I go to program mix 1 ( 51 ) and plug in elev-> aux 2 the following comes up:

TRIM OFFSET + 0% first line
OFF NORM - 86 + 0% second line

SEL SEL STORE TURN + CL - third line

Now I am lost....I can't seem to get the above posted procedures to work. I have a 10sx11. Also can't seem to get over 86 on the offset.

Help anyone??????????

You might want to talk to Dan StJohn (his post is on the first page about 1/2 way down ) as he was the one that I copied the post from.I did the mix and found that I too only get -86 or so.But I actually have a 10 X ,but it should be about the same .The 10 X has a servo monitor that shows the movement of each servo on the touch screen and the -86 offset seems to make the servos travel the right amount each way on Aux 2.

I did find a mistake, I think ,as I could not get the pitch channel to work full throw when using the - 86 offset on the 52 mix.I put the offset back to 0 as I reasoned it didn't need it like mix 51 as the (aux 2 ) channel that is a 1/2 on ,1/2 off switch needs the offset to give it full throw .It now has full travel on the pitch channel (# 6)

You need to set all servo travels involved to 100 % and take off all subtrims
If you can't get ahold of Dan .You can call me at :260- 562- 3963 and I will try to talk you through what I have done as now that I actually follow the instructions I see that they are confusing to some extent and take a little expermentation to get it to work right.

Now Dean I see in your statement the first problem that you are having in your set up.I will quote yours and then type it correct below it.

[quote] TRIM OFFSET + 0% first line
OFF NORM - 86 + 0% second line

SEL SEL STORE TURN + CL - third line [/qoute]

TRIM OFFSET + 0% (should be -100 %)first line
OFF NORM - 86 + 0%(should be -100%) second line

SEL SEL STORE TURN + CL - third line

this little correction will activate the mix to the aux channel, as 0 % means NO mixing being done.

Then the other confusing place is down in the 55,56,57 mix area.
Mix 55 Pit (M) - Elev (S) Zero In =100 Out, 100 In = Out,

(-100) (this means you reverse the way the default curve goes ,minus becomes plus ,and plus becomes minus)

Linear ( linear means you take out all the curve points and make it a straight line from top to bottom)

And is the same on the other two mixes.
Mix 56 Pit (M) - Aux2(S) Zero In =100 Out, 100 In = (-100) Out, Linear
Mix 57 Pit (M) - Aile (S) Zero In =100 Out, 100 In = (-100) Out, Linear

Hope this helps some

OOPS! I made a boo-boo!

Guys,
I just looked at my 10SXII and what I typed in the message. I messed up when I typed it. From left to right on mix 51:
Trim ON
Norm
Offset 0 (zero)
-100
-100 (as you move your elevator stick it will select either one or the other line)

Larry figured out what I meant to type. He was correct on all accounts, I guess I type as badly as I fly
