when ppl just leave 'best offer'. i offer what i want to pay up to, and the reply is usually 'i'd rather keep it than give it away'. well you should've put a price then.

everyone has a reserve price they're thinking of when they're selling something...

but sometimes things are worth more to some than others so sometimes you could get lucky and have someone offer you more than what you want for what you're selling... so the seller wins..

just make an offer and if the guy says no and the item is worth more to you make a higher offer... or go to ebay

sometimes it is hard to find a value of an item, or you have a price range in mind, but dont want to put an exact price on the item...

as long as the seller doesnt have a problem with the few who lowball then i dont see a problem with offering..
