| Sounds like your low speed is too richIf the low speed it too rich, it will not run. This is not a nitro motor.
I don't have experience with your carb, I have the stock g23 carb, but I assume its the same idea. Try closing the low end down to 1 1/8 turn open from 1 1/2 and try again using this procedure.
Tx stick full down, throttle trim 1/2 way. (do not start with TX stick anywhere above full down -- use trim to adjust throttle only).
Close choke.
Prime bulb until carb floods and excess fuel is returned to the tank.
Pull once, maybe twice with choke closed. Engine should run, flood, and quit.
Open choke.
Pull a few times to clear the flood in the engine and get it running.
Once you get the procedure down, you will know what is happening before it happens and be able to adjust your starting technique.
Like for me, I close the choke, pull once with the choke closed, then open the choke, pull a second time and its running. I anticipate the flood instead of waiting to hear it and it starts quicker this way. No big deal if it starts and quits with the choke closed -- all that means is that you may have to pull it 4 to 5 times with the choke open to clear the flood and get it running.
Once the engine is running, adjust the throttle travel adjust so that you get a nice slow but reliable idle (blades won't turn) with the tx throttle trim 1/2 way open, and, so that when you pull the trim back the engine will quit. Next time you go to start the engine, just put the trim 1/2 way up and go.
Good luck, and enjoy!
