I saw that happen, and one of them that went down was in our group. He didn't go down because of a radio issue, he just ran out of fuel (that happened 3 or 4 times that weekend in our group!!).

I think it's just rumors and speculation that 2.4Ghz was the cause. 2.4Ghz Rx's ignore bad packets, so they can't really get shot down like 72Mhz.

I still put my trust in 2.4 every time I light up my helis.I was hoping these roumors I keep hearing about Glitching on 2.4 with wi -fi and Bluetooth are unfounded......

I missed Sunday.

DX7 and glitches are rare from what I know. That is the reason I went with this technology. Sure I could have bought a FM, and I know people who will say they have never had a lockout or glitch using a FM.

My words for the week. Don’t blame pilot error on your radio. Blame someone else

Did you ever have the whole field to yourself and have your charger go belly up? I stopped by there after work today and had it to myself and that's exactly what happened to me. How was the flying yesterday? I couldn't make it, had to take care of mom.

That sucks.....We had a good day after the skys cleared. There was no crashes....The MD530 looked real nice in the air....too bad its up for sale already. Helis come and helis go.....some faster than others.
