for the installation of the angled battery tray mod fwd of the motor, does the tab where the esc mounts removed?

want to start using the stock canopy, but with my current configuration it will not fit over my mod

i suck at this, but having the time of my life with it!

move the ESC under the heli notch the bottom back of the canopy where you can plug in the battery without removing the canopy.

No I was playing around with putting one on but I saw the xtreme frame stiffener with a batt tray included so I'm waiting on that to be released. I can't wait for it to come out to get this darn CG problem fixed-it's even worse with the heavier rex gearbox on the tail

that's a sweet set up, thinking i can duplicate it at work, have lots of sheetmetal to play with...got the CG down with the current configuration, no problems there

extension tray made from fiber glass layup, runs the length of the tray, zipped tied through the bottom of tray...going to get started on painting the stock canopy, removed the decals, but very hard to remove the residue left behind

Also if I was more daring for cg I would try moving the gyro up front using the weight the heli already has. Ive heard it can be done but then your looking at electrical interference from the motor.
