Great Fun Fly will never miss this one in years to come, had a great time talking flying until 1am last night with the guys that stayed for some drinks and BS. Ron you worked your butt off to make this a great fun fly, Great media coverage great promos great prizes and alot of great people. This should be on everyones calender for next year. Just to let everyone know Jamie Robertson was in 6th place after Friday and Saturdays flights at the XFC. He was barley behind 4th place. I will get a call from him this evening to see how he ends up in the last day and finals today.

Great event

Thanks to Ron and the entire GTRCC organization. They put on a great event. I was there Fri/Sat/Sun.

Fri was a typical setup day, lots of flying by the early arrivals.

Sat was great. Very smoothly run event all day. Lots of beginner events that were kept in a separate field from the main flightline. A noon demo of a 30 or 40% plane doing some nice high-alpha, hovering, and torque rolls. Care flight came in with a full scale (Augusta?) for a couple of hours. Lots of great demo flights by Anthony Jager, Ryan Witchie(SP?), Robert, John, Chris, and others. A very nice 3-way demo of hard 3d with flybar-less Logo 600/700 rigs that belong to John and Anthony, with John, Anthony, and Robert flying (and me doing a very poor job of announcing). Very impressive (including the powerloss inverted crash!). Another airplane demo, night flying... and TONS of flying by all of us. Most of the "Grapevine Crew" was present and put lots of fuel and battery cycles in the logbooks.

In other words, a very busy and full day.

Pilot's raffle with tons of prizes; a good cash raffle with several coax helicopters, a radio, and so forth.

Ryan flew some demo flights on Sunday, and Ron flew his 35% Yak for some very nice IMAC sequence and 3d High Alpha hover stuff. Really a great Sunday morning. (Oh yeah, I flew some too).

Really a "Pilots Event". I'll be there next year, and you guys keep up the good work.

Heli blaze

Well Ron, it was a lot of work and I could definitely tell you put a lot and I mean a lot of effort into this event. And guess what, it turned out well. This event will only get bigger and next year more of the pros will able be to come too.

Thanks:

Well folks, the 08 Heli Blaze is in the history books.
It was great seeing everyone with smiles all day.

I hope that next year will be even larger with the date being changed to
the last weekend in June so more pilots will be able to come.

I sincerely hope that every one had a snippy time and will look forward
to it next year. Please let me know if you see any of the media coverage that was taken out their.
If you have any suggestions let me know.

As the President of my club and my First Heli event as a CD you guys really made me proud to fly heli's and to be a part of this great hobby.

Great event! It was a very personable and warm environment.

Ron did an excellent job on organizing this event! (he is pretty darn good on the sticks too! for those of you who missed his show with the DA100 powered Yak)

The Mikado group did a great demo (Anthony, Robert and John) as did the two aerobatic airplane pilots on Sat.

See you guys next month in Fort Worth!

Anthony,
Pamela Anderson said that she returned your key and was no where

But she did say something about hide and seek?

Thanks dude and next year #26 will have your name on it!!!!!!!!!
