Purply washout arrived. NO slop. Good "P" shouldn't be sloppy. Bearings instead of bushings. I don't think I'd like like bushy "P" anyway. 13 minutes from "Well, here we go" to "Let's see how it tracks now". With the Esky carbons, tracking is dead nutZ (dead nutZ? scary...) from 0 throttle to full. I thought something was wrong with my glasses...

Not a huge difference in cyclic, but the P-swash had already made the cyclic a bit crisper. The biggest difference in flight that I noticed was the sudden (but not unrecoverable) altitude drop when lowering collective was 85% gone. Now I won't be araid to do low strafing runs on all those action figures I have packed up in a box somewhere.

The old washout was a little too tight on the shaft, but my new "P" is a perfect fit and slides smoothly all the way up and down.

Good Lord, is this an adults-only forum?

Stability was already there, even with all plastic and wood blades. I'm going for smoother collective and better tracking.

Stability comes from a good setup, regardless of carbon and bling. If anything, the purply stuff and carbons make it less stable, since it's a little more responsive to stick input.

Pic by request. All I have is a camera phone, so sorry for the crummy pic.
