I take a charger and a few battery packs so I just use what ever cardboard box is handy at the time. I really want a full case to keep my **** heli in so I'm on the interested list...

Yeah, right now its a big plastic tote with no foam, but i havent been going anywhere but the street outside and the neighbors, so it is ok. But when I hit the power plant run in a couple of weeks, I will have to have something better and more stable.

My flight box is a plastic grocery bag. All I take is xtra batts., 2 screwdrivers, 2 allen keys, needle nose, heli, TX. I will get a carrying case someday but there are a lot of things on my list before that.

Hey Tryan, can the heli go into the box without unscrewing or moving anything. And how much extra things can you put in there.

OK I told myself I was gonna cut my internet time due to the fact bigfoots scare me but anyway here goes.

Its an hdx400 HD.com for $45 case so its big for the king I fit all my tools I need to totally dismantle the king a box full of parts from the ECO8 the BCPP and the king, spare belts spindles servo gearsets pitch gauge lipos charger with battery connectors. I have a lead acid battery I also carry but thats it. only if your gonna be their long enough to charge batteries. But I could just use my truck battery with the connectors. the heli falls in and sits snug the only problem I had was the horizontal fin would lightly touch my radio so I just took it off I didn't have it in there for the pics cause I need to make a few small foam cuts to get the new jet ranger fuse in there and will have to remove the boom due to the wide horizontal.

HD case dimensions ●Diameter:698x203x284(mm)●Weight:3.4kg
Esky " " 700*280*210 mm 5.0kg
virtually same size HD is $65 delivered. I wanted an esky case but
Esky was $120 shipped being a cheaparse you can guess which one I ordered

When I go to an indoor event...

What I take when I go to the big field...

Making it all fit into the car...

If I'm just going to fly the Trex or King 2 someplace I'll usually put the DX7 in the case with the heli and basic tools in the ammo cae with the charger, cuts down on things to carry. When I go to the field I take a full complement of tools and basic spares, along with a camp chair and table. The rear deck of the CRV is a removable plastic table that is perfect for setting the helis and flight gear on while at the field. If I ever get rid of it I'll keep the table and cover the hole with a piece of plywood

So basically your flightbox is a CRV?

I was just happy I could do something with that little align case I was thrilled the sealed lead acid battery fit in it. I got a metal case for my king and popular 450 size heli which Ill will leave unmentioned. My question for you RCcarguy is who do you get to help you carry it all?

My faithful assistant, you can see he's all worn out from helping me move all that stuff...

Where do you put your second Heli ragtop? I kid. I made the fieldbox with battery so I could take either one of my helis in its case And not have to switch tools and chargers. I too had an all in one case but you'll outgrow that stage. And a portable field charger that charges a 1350mah pack 10 times was my goal. Less down time more stick time.
