| hi all. i just recently bought a second hand 3dnt . i flew a couple of flights with it to get used to it . now i am getting more familiar with it , i started to fly in idle 1 and 2 with more headspead and engine revs. in the first couple of flights i noticed a sort of tail wag . not bordered about it at first couse i thought it was running low revs and headspeed , engine smoking heaps , gyro not adjusted but just putted it on 50 % [on a ff9 futaba gyro 401] . when i was revving it up in idle 2 [i guess 1800 rpm head] the tailwag still there . i adjusted the lotterle carb needles , tigthen the tail belt and tried another plug [enya 4 instead of enya 5] . still there , gyro sensetivity up and down , no difference there . now i noticed that when i rotate the tailfins in the direction they do when flying , i rotate and it feels smooth , and on one point i feel the teeth on the belt , no resistance but i just feel trough the fins the teeth going takka takka [you know]. checked everything i could and cant find what couses it , checked the whole belt around , no damage or whatsoever. checked everywhere it was not touching anywhere . the wag in flight is a sort of wag you would expect if yr engine is running way to rich , so therefore i looked at that first , but thats not the case. anybody got me any sugestions , im really eger to get this beauty up and going . regards hristo [sorry for spelling , english isnt my native language] |
