If your heli came setup as mine did, you will need to move the battery forward quite a bit. From what others have posted here before (as well as from my own experience) these heli's are tail heavy.

I was able to fly mine right out of the box. The only thing I checked before I hovered was blade tracking and belt tension. Both of these were perfect (or near enough) My Belt CP now has about 3 hours on it (mostly hovering and slow forward flight) and the only thing I have had to do is tighten the belt. I also use a silicon spray on the main shaft and belt to help keep things running smoothly. This heli is VERY stable so don't be afraid to spin 'er up and see what happens.

My Belt CP has the stock gyro on it right now and the tail holds very well. From what I've read having a HH gyro will only make things easier.

Hope this helps!!

Yes, this is the what I was referring to. Just make sure that it doesn't have excessive play in it. Mine became loose after a couple of hard landings. I tightened it back up by loosening 4 screws that are located where the tail boom meets the frame. Just loosen the screws, pull the tail boom away from the frame (this will add tension to the belt), and re-tighten.

My tail rotor was turning backward right out of the box due to the belt being installed backwards - and one of the tail rotors grip screws was BARELY threaded in.

Be sure to do a check of all fastners before flying. Snug up any loose ones.

I didn't spend much time getting mine perfect... if your new to the hobby... just do some minor checks and make sure the servos are working and try flying it... you will wreck it and have to fix it...

Atleast I did... hehe...
