was hopping around in the back yard working the kinks out and then there was a snap, left fwd strut broke at the skid, 2-3 ft off the ground, soft landing in plush grass and still snapped like a twig, using the "T" word skid assy...don't really want to go back to stock skid assy, but will for the time being

anyone having the same experience with Align products?

i suck at this, but having the time of my life with it!

Yes I have, I went thru several till I ended with the "superskids" commonly used on the Blade CP and CP2 as an upgrade. I haven't managed to break a set yet. I have also heard of "Gorilla gear" that is supposed to be very tough as well.

was looking at xtreme skids, but i'll check out both you've mentioned, bummed out... gone through two packs trying to get the tail spin under control when the strut snapped, local hobby shop was no help, youngsters working behind the counter only know trucks and car stuff

I've landed fairly hard a few times on the belt cp skids and they are doing well...

no breakage yet... I hit the ground hard enought to cause a boom strike with the main blades and they didn't break..

Align makes a bump resistant landing gear too but the gorrilla gear s the best for those rough landings...
