How many people are there? I was thinking about coming out.. but the rain really scared me away. I could there in about 20 minutes.

I have never been to that field before. Is there shelter from the rain?

Is is too muddy to drive into/park in the field. Do we need to park on the road instead? Don't want to get stuck!

You can drive on the grass and get to the field just fine.

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter...

So how was it?
Didn't get to go, wanted to, but went to a funeral Sat. of a best friend's wife, 43, from cancer.

Anyone want a pet rabbit?.............I found him on the road dead and I'm tired of hugging him

To the 27 pilots that stuck itout, I want to say Thank you for makeing this a great day and all worth the hard work I have to put in to it, so thanks for coming out and maybe we can do it again next year without the rain and maybe just keep the afternoon temps!

THANKS AGAIN for making it worth doing!

Mike,

Thank YOU! Weather could not be helped, (although it did GREATLY help
control the temps.), it all turned out great IMO. Just simply ran out
of hours in the day! Lot of great, familiar faces and some new. And a
nice turnout of 'gassers' displayed/demoed, along w. the regular good stuff we usually get to see!

Thanks again, Jim

Mike,

Even though it was some-what cold and the rain lasted most of the day, I had a heck of a time. I will definitely be back next year!

And for those who are curious about this picture:

I am glad I got to meet a bunch of people I hadn't met before. Thanks, and see you all next year.

Mike,

Thanks for the hospitality and fun. The weather was iffy but we stuck it out and it couldn't have ended any better. We look forward to it again next year. Always look forward to meeting new people up your direction that I normally do not get a chance to see and fly with. Thanks for making it possible.

And to think that when I was going thru Topeka under heavy rain I even thought about turning back and forgetting about the fun fly.

Thanks Mike for adding another bird to my fleet!

I've been surfing Heliproz, RunLund.com and ReadyHeli for the best prices on the equipment I need. Hopefully I will have it ready to fly in the next few weeks.

I hope Ron does not mind for me borrowing this image...
