e-E-Sky Honey Bee- Lama- Belt CP- E-Smart > Blade clamp screws?

Just checking. When I got my HBK2, I also picked up some extra blades. Over Christmas I got the purple stuff! (I’m holding off on installing it until I can hover worth a popo.)
While playing with the purple (and putting it together), I checked the spare blades. Is it just my purple stuff, or is the screw that holds the blade on the CNC blade clamp a larger diameter screw than the stock plastic blade clamp screw?
This being the case, at least on the stuff I have, do you just drill out the plastic sleeve through the mounting hole on the blades to mount them in the purple blade clamps?

Thanks

Hi

Yes the screw for the cnc grips is larger. If you remove the plastic covers from the blades the hole in the blade itself is the same dia as the new screw so yes I would just drill out the plastic to the size of the new screw

I didn’t think it would be a big deal, just checking.
I didn’t think to check the hole on the blade itself.

Thanks for the info.

I didnt drill mine out. just thread the bolt through the plastic the blades are very firm in the grips and track next to perfect even at a high headspeed. You can always drill them out but you cant fill them back in, besides with normal everyday flying and folding the blades they loosen up just fine.
