I bought one lately as well... and it is now my favorite flyer all around.

It is quiet enough to pull it out anywhere...

Don't need to 3D in my office :-)

Tail wiggle

Hey Guys. I'm pretty sure this has been addressed in one of the forums. But, I am having difficulty getting the tail to stop wiggling/wagging. I've got my heli very balanced and virtually vibration free. Does anyone have a cure/fix for this?

Bad tail!

This is usually a sign of a lose rx. I would take a rubber band and wrap it around the rx is it is held on snuggly. this should fix the tail wag. Also check to make sure the carbon fiber tail boom has not cracked or split this also causes tail wag.

Do the above and make sure the tail rotor has a tiny tiny gap so its not dragging on the bearing.

You must have paddles aligned 100%.

I did have this problem with my past 4#3 helicopters, must have been too many crashes.
This new one I have has not been crashed and it flies like a dream! It flies like i've got a GY401 on the tail, LOL kidding, its pretty good though. Tail i holds better than the 52.

I got this idea from another thread.

I ajusted the flybar paddles to 3 deg. pitch up, and it made it much more controlable!!!

ok im color blind but I can see a subtle change in the light on the charger, im guessing it red and green Ok so it flys right outta the box like a guy said but why is it so non responsive? can I tweak something to make it faster on the cyclic?

Hey Mastic....

Ok, once you plug the battery in you should only let it charge for about 60mins at tops. I would normally unplug my battery at 40mins regardless if the light had turned green. The little lipo is just like any other lipo and can be over charged.

You say that its not responsive enough for you? this is strange because most 4#3's are extremely fast on the cyclic. Did you buy it used? or new? if you got it used, it may already have some mods done to it.

The first thing to check is to make sure that the links on the servo's are on the farthest hole on the servo arm out, this will make the cyclic more responsive and quite fast.

If you check out this link you will find the Original thread along with the second thread that was started because the first page was getting to long. I hope this helps ya. Good luck!

That explains it, I had moved the links to the innermost hole thinking it would be faster ...isnt it faster? Outerhole has more travel?

I don't own one, but cannot believe the included charger would not stop automatically when charge is complete. So I would not be worried about overcharging the pack at all.

You're right, outherhole will give more travel, thus will move the swashplate at greater extend for the same input, giving more cyclic power.

I got the Walkera4#3 for little more than $140. It is a great little indoor heli. But it may be too hard for the beginner to fly - too sensitive. But good for the experienced flyers.

You can get it for around $120 now. You can check Google and compare the price from different shops: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...G=Google+Search

What are the symptoms of a motor failure, do they loose power or do they quit completely?

Really short flight times and hot battery.

I can verify... alittle +pitch on the paddles makes this thing a cadillac.

Likes its on rails!

Love this little bastard.

40+ flights for me.
