| Park sorry to say but it is definently the receiver or transmitter!
I had this problem on the one i got, I bought mode 1 (I fly mode 2), i knew it could be swapped so when i got home and the box was there the first thing i did was swap the mode over. Silly to do as the warranty on the transmitter is void, I had no choice but to get a second one and after testing I found both the receiver and transmitter on the first heli to be faulty. As soon as you move more than 1M away it twitches and has a mind of its own, the transmitter won't lock on to the receiver unless you hold it.
But now i've got a whole heli (minus receiver and transmitter) spare and extra battery and charger. I did keep the battery holder/antenna and cover from the faulty transmitter. Its better to get a new one as it the cheapest way
