Dave, This is not a smart-ass reply but the BEST upgrade you can get for the CP2 is to sell it and get the King 2. I know you got it flying good but after upgrading the hell out of it---CNC head, BL motor, HH gyro , you will have spent more Doe than just getting the king, Just my opinion Dave.

Doug don't worry about it I was just offering the stuff I had if he wanted to stay with the cp... They are a fun little heli to beat on when learning. If nothing else It will teach you how to work on a heli....

getting back into the hobby, I think the CP was a good "beater" to learn on. My King2 is in the furure. It has even more stuff to work on and adjust than this one...

I still fly my CP2s. I never had a problem getting any of mine to fly right thats even with the stock main and tail motors. As most knows, I fly mine in scale form also. I still like the little helis. Lately Ive been spending more time with the King2 and the Belt Cp. From time to time, I still break out the cp2s.

hey Slider, are you serious about selling the parts? I guess the numbers will tell ...I thought fixing up these toys was part of the fun ...they sure break easy!! this forum taught me how to find upgrades and what to do with them when I got them ...

After my stint with the BCPP I would have to say the best mod you can do with the little CP micros is a HH gyro. And leave everything else alone. The heli will never fly like a bigger heli the tailmotors will always fail eventually. But they are what they are at least Esky doesn't rape you $250 for one. I went with the DD tail on My bcp and fried all the tailmotors I could find. When I got to thee point I wanted to go brushless with the BCP luckily the king2 was out and changed my plan all together. I got a belt driven Barebones king for the price of a brushless upgrade on the BCPP.

So like I said fly the cp2 as is and have fun with it but unless you have the disposable income don't spend to much on mods.
