| Re: Tail Belt Tension - there is a picture in your manual that shows the proper belt tension.
When you push on the belt in the access window just behind the drive gear, it should move about 1/2 way to the other side of the belt. Use a large allen key or a spare main shaft to apply medium pressure.
To adjust the belt tension, use the supplied Philips screwdriver to slightly loosen the 4 screws that hold the tail in the main-frame. Slide the tail into the frame (loosen belt tension) or out of the frame (tighten belt tension) and then tighten the 4 screws again.
The tail tube is keyed to the main-frame, so you do not have to worry about it rotating while you adjust the belt tension. |
